We have four 100amp batteries, they did great, but we wanted more power, two of these batteries gave us more power, in about the same amount of space.
Battery has been fantastic! Customer service was poor though. I contacted customer service to determine when pre order would ship. Said it would ship by Christmas. When it missed ship deadline, we were headed south in our RV for 4 months. Once it shipped it missed us by 3 days so I asked customer service to redirect FedEx to our destination campground in Florida ( as the shipper they can absolutely do this). But they said they couldn’t. It then cost me $250 and a big favor from a friend to go pick up the battery from my mom’s house and ship to FL for me. Was not happy with the poor customer service from SOK Battery!
I like the size and weight. I like the on/off button, indicator lights and that it is over-performing with the amphour level, which is above the advertised 314ah. It just seems the cell balance could or should be a bit better or be more “active” in the BMS balance routine. But for now, the cell balance doesn’t seem to be degrading the performance much. Customer service has been great with a tiny problem I had. The battery is a very good value.
So far, very pleased with this battery. Perfect for an RV with the Victron comms and fire suppression. I also like the power switch and built-in tie down plates which makes it easy to secure in the RV. Very nice addition to the SOK line. I bought two.
It was just plug and go! The app is great. It had so much more energy than my 2 AGM 6 volt batteries that it replaced. Very well built, I really appreciate the effort spent on the design, it was very well thought out!
