Reviews
My cells read: 3323, 3534, 3512, 3482 and it just stays there it never goes higher, this is the highest it will go. The victron communications are also lack luster and show overvolt error every time you try to charge. SOK support has been bad for the most part or non existent. I went with SOK over another company because it was cheaper and had free shipping. That other company's victron system is vastly superior compared to what SOK has.
Purchased a new SK12V314PH | 12V314A for my travel trailer replacing two lead acid deep cycle batteries. The Victron communication set up is super easy to connect. It’s great to have so much more capacity in the compact footprint. Very flexible mounting hardware included gave many options for securing the battery. One thing they could improve is the terminal bolts. There is a no threads collar on the bolts which would not allow for tightening my cable connections all the way.
I see other reviews on here with people saying they have balancing and charging issues with alarms for high cell voltage - they definitly have the wrong charge settings on either their MPPTs or their Multiplus - probably the multiplus because you cant set the charge voltage in victron connect you need the dongle or a cerbo + PC.
We have four 100amp batteries, they did great, but we wanted more power, two of these batteries gave us more power, in about the same amount of space.
Battery has been fantastic! Customer service was poor though. I contacted customer service to determine when pre order would ship. Said it would ship by Christmas. When it missed ship deadline, we were headed south in our RV for 4 months. Once it shipped it missed us by 3 days so I asked customer service to redirect FedEx to our destination campground in Florida ( as the shipper they can absolutely do this). But they said they couldn’t. It then cost me $250 and a big favor from a friend to go pick up the battery from my mom’s house and ship to FL for me. Was not happy with the poor customer service from SOK Battery!
