Great service so far
The batteries arrived on time and in very good packaging. The initial impression of build quality is very good. We will install on the boat today, boat won’t have a good feel for how they are working until the system is complete and working in the spring
Purchased three marine 206ah batteries for the RV. More then enough power to run our mini split for heat at night and make dinner, morning coffee and tea all before the next days sun is available. The batteries using my charger system took just over 24 hours to settle in. I have two 80ah solar chargers, 600 watts of solar on one and 800watts on the other. Running a main 3000 watt inverter with a 2000 watt as a spare. Batteries are typically charged by noon from a night of running min-split as a heat pump. These batteries replaced six 100ah AGM batteries. The weight savings is incredible! I went with marine style only because I would rather have plastic instead of metal in my tight battery box. One thing with the marine style, that I did know in advance, but other May not, is they do not sit flush to each other. I staggered them. The bolts holding the top to the case extrude out the sides. No big deal if you are aware of it. I use small cargo style straps to hold them in place. I had incorporated the straps into my battery box design. The straps are more capable of dealing with these light weight batteries then they were with the heavy AGM’s. I had asked a question concerning a technical spec before purchase, I received an answer back promptly with a valid justification. Support is great! I will definitely purchase in the future.
What an excellent upgrade this SOK battery is compared to my old lead battery. Ordering my 2nd one tomorrow. Shipping was prompt and packaging was outstanding. Jason in tech service was a tremendous help in helping update the firmware in my victron multiplus. Thanks again Jason
